Kiddiccino

Kiddiccino Playgroup runs every Monday morning during term time in the lounge. 

It starts with Storytime at 10am in the church, which includes a fairytale, a contemporary children's story and a bible story, read by a story teller. The story choice is aimed at the level of the children who are there on the day.

The music, play and coffee session starts at 10.30am.

Cost is $2 which goes towards morning tea. 

Run by young mums from the Island Bay Presbyterian Church, Kiddiccino offers mums and their kiddies a chance to hang out together and experience God’s wonderful world through music, movement and other hands-on activities.

The usual structure includes a few songs, an activity - eg playdough,  musical instruments, storytime, craft - morning tea then open playtime.

Open playtime is set up into different areas of play for different age groups. There are bouncers available for very young babies. 

Morning tea for the children is a simple affair with plain biscuits, fruit and crackers. Morning tea for the grown ups includes home baking and tea/plunger coffee!
