The IBPC Youth Group is a dynamic bunch of young people of high school age through to around 20. YG meets on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm in the church hall, with Joe Fecteau as leader and his trusty sidekick Andrew Bruce.
IBPC youth participate yearly in the Wellington Presbyterian Youth Film Festival which takes a lot of creativity, enthusiasm and ability and usually results in an award! Its also a great opportunity for our young people to experience acting, directing and producing a short film and we have a lot of fun with it.
Around the middle of the year is the annual Youth Service where we take over all aspects of the service from readings, the sermon, entertainment, songs and prayers. We always manage to sneak in something memorable - last year we had a Bingo game running simultaneously and the congregation had to cross off words as they got mentioned in the service.
IBPC Youth heads off to Parachute and Easter Camp most years, regional youth services and anything else going that sounds fun - including mission events, concerts and ski trips. For more information contact the church....
